Although, this mount was primarily intended by design for the Estate Weathervanes, this mount can also be used for Full Size Weathervanes, and is suggested for them if your Full Size Weathervane is intended to be mounted somewhere near the ocean, or anywhere there may be very strong winds. The 10" deep mounting shaft on this Large Decorative Mount will lend extra security in comparison to the Adjustble Roof Mount that has a Standard 5" shaft height. If you believe this may be your best option, but prefer the mount without the additional flair, you can get the Large Steel Roof Mount (401LG) instead.
